Autumn Schedule of classes-Alive with Flavour-September to December 2016

All classes include ingredients, recipes to take home, and everything you need on the day.

Thursday 6th October 2016 10-2pm – A Day of Flavours – Join me in the most beautiful surrounds of the Kingscote Wine Estate, Tithe Barn Cookery School. The day commences at 10am with coffee and biscuits while I take you through a ‘fuss free’ Autumn Dinner Party Menu – 3 courses. Part demonstration and part ‘hands on’ we will have a fun day putting this delicious meal together using seasonal ingredients. Towards the end of our time together, we will be able to sit down and enjoy our efforts with a glass of award winning Kingscote wine (of course!). Cost is £45 per head and booking needs to be made before the 28th September.

Tuesday 25th October 2016 10-3pm – Cookery Camp for Children aged 7-11 years old, Halloween – Rustling up some spooky treats with the Halloween theme. Sally Boulton will be joining me, expert in cake decorating and helping the children make their own witches, wizards, black cats, and pumpkins, all edible of course! Taking place at Crockham Hill Primary School. Cost is £35 per head and please book by emailing me at jobanks@alivewithflavour.com by Monday 17th October.

Thursday 27th October 2016 10-3pm – Cookery Camp for Children aged 10-15 years old, Breast Cancer Pink Pantry – Join us for Pink Baking and Creating supporting Breast Cancer UK. £5 on each students class fee goes towards this charity. Pink savouries and sweets but healthy too! £35 per head.  Taking place in the well equipped Reigate Grammar School Food Tech Room.                   Please contact Reigate Grammar School to book. 

Saturday 3rd December 2016 10-2pm – Cookery Camp for Children aged 7-11 years old, Christmas Baking – join us for the most festive baking session, cakes, treats and even a few home-made Christmas presents! Taking place at Crockham Hill Primary School. £35 per head and please book by emailing me at jobanks@alivewithflavour.com by Friday 25th November.

Thursday 8th December 2016 10-12pm – Christmas Decorating Workshop Sally Boulton and I will be running this ‘hands-on’ workshop. Starting the morning with a coffee and mince pies (of course) and watching Sally in action showing us some beautiful festive decorating tips and ideas for cupcakes and your Christmas cake. ‘Hands-on’ – you will take home 6 decorated ‘festive themed’ cupcakes and ready to finish your Christmas cake in the most professional but home-made manner!  Taking place in the Harris Room at Crockham Hill Village Hall. Cost is £30 per head and please book by emailing me at jobanks@alivewithflavour.com by Friday 25th November (limited places).

Thursday 15th December 2016 7-10pm – Christmas Decorating Workshop Sally Boulton and I will be running this ‘hands-on’ workshop. A chance for you to bring along your Christmas cake and put the finising touches on it, with a little help from a friend! We will chat, sip wine and enjoy some Christmas canapés while Sally shows us some great decorating techniques. ‘Hands on’ – you will marzipan and ice your cake, making decorations to put on. Taking place in the Harris Room at Crockham Hill Village Hall. Cost is £35 per head and please book by emailing me at jobanks@alivewithflavour.com by Friday 25th November (limited places).

Wednesday 21st December 2016 10-3pm – Cookery Camp for Children aged 10-15 years old, Christmas Baking – Some delicious bakes perfect for sharing with family and friends over the holidays including ‘homemade’ christmas gifts! Taking place at Reigate Grammar School. Booking is not yet open.
