My daughter attended an Easter baking workshop with Jo, and she and her friends really enjoyed the day.
Jo is an enthusiastic teacher and my daughter came home with some very tasty food.
She’s also been motivated by Jo to try some cooking at home, which is great!

Really pleased with my homemade wreath, great price and lots of fun, we got fed too, thank you! Never done this before and was hesitant it would work online! However with Gaynor's expert tuition my wreath turned out well and I had alot of fun.
What a lovely way to spend the evening with my husband helping! Enjoyed the delicious food too! Mum and I did our wreaths in the garden (social distanced) what a lovely crafty activity, it really got us in the Christmas mood!

Thank you Alive with Flavour for my Christmas wreath package which arrived today.
I was absolutely delighted to receive my box of delights this morning, It was so much fun unwrapping all the secure little paper packages of dried orange slices, cones, tied cinnamon sticks, etc.. so carefully prepared and parcelled.
I set to work the following evening once I'd prepared some greenery. As you'd done the hard part for me (the moss) I just enjoyed decorating with my Christmas tunes playing in the background. A moment where I felt super calm and organised - much like a Stepford wife!!
I found some dried flowers I'd saved from a bouquet and the pink seemed to work, I think.
I received lots of kind comments from my neighbours too which was a lovely bonus.
Christmas Online Workshop 2020
Jo . I had the most fantastic time and am so cross I won’t be there to disgrace myself at the Masterchef team-building event.
It’s really very satisfying to put those meals in my freezer, knowing Tom will feed the kids something other than pizza on the nights I work.
I thought the venue was great and the food fab — space is pretty important and the only change you could possibly make is to reduce the number of dishes —too much food, which is not a real problem!
Enjoyed hearing you describing what goes into the dishes, spice wise and learning about flavour combinations.
Oh and my kids would love a cooking session with you — they were very jealous!
Freezer Workshop - Rebecca from Tunbridge Wells
I thoroughly enjoyed the Festive Wreath making workshop at Chiddingstone Castle. It was the perfect way to kick start December and get me into the Christmas spirit! The venue itself is amazing and you are greeted at the event with refreshments by the big Christmas tree inside the castle.
The actual workshop is held in the old castle kitchen, so it’s like going back in time and really adds to the atmosphere! I’ve made wreaths before, however this workshop was for all levels and was well set out to help everyone achieve a glorious festive creation! I learnt lots of different seasonal recipes and loved meeting local foodies and creatives. I went along with 2 friends and we all really enjoyed it...and to finish it off you get a delicious lunch and a glass of fizz!
