Supper Club - 1st July

We are always looking for an excuse to eat more BBQ - and American Independence Day seems like a perfect time to celebrate the hippest cuisine of the Moment! 

I am delighted to be collaborating with The Curious Eatery, a restaurant based in Kent. 

Collect your BBQ box ready to pop on the grill or in the oven for 10-15 mins with all the prep done, including accompaniments.

Then sit back, enjoy your drinks and delicious BBQ food. 

All orders include recipes and a jar of marinade ready for next time the grill is lit!

AFTER RECEIVING YOUR BOOKING I WILL CONTACT YOU FOR YOUR MENU CHOICE. YOU WILL ALSO BE ALLOCATED A SPECIFIC TIME SLOT TO COLLECT YOUR FOOD. 

Our Menu:

Pork belly pin wheels - Applewood smoked with vanilla (flavours of Tennessee whiskey) 

Or 

Smoked Spatchcock poussin lemon and chive aioli 

And 

New England seafood skewer - king prawns, king scallop, corn on the cob with a lemon, cayenne pepper and garlic butter to baste. 

Vegetarian Option with or without the seafood skewer.

Chargrilled skewer of;  

Sesame crusted miso marinated aubergine, courgette, Chinese spiced paneer cheese and saffron soaked cauliflower with a truffle, spring onion, chilli and coriander dressing   

Chargrilled garlic and herb marinated field mushroom topped with a kohlrabi, chard and roasted cashew nut slaw.

All with:

Curious potato salad - new potato, caper, shallot, cornichons, chervil and Dijon 

Creamy coleslaw - Savoy cabbage, red onion, carrot and mayo

Marinated Heirloom tomato and basil salad

Wines from the USA 

Californian White - Reanne Valley - Colombard Chardonnay  

Full bodied with excellent balance. Fine, soft and fruity mouthfeel with characters of tropical fruits with crisp green apples making this very palatable. 

Rosé Zinfandel - Reanne Valley 

Light pink colour, soft and well balanced, medium dry, refreshing summer wine with strawberry and raspberry characteristics. 

Californian Red - Reanne Valley - Zinfandel  

Deep Ruby colour with an exotic bouquet of Raspberries and spice.  Velvety and rich with a dry finish. 

Wines from ITALY 

Pinot Grigio Venezie Giulia - Il Caggio   

A dry white wine with a mineral character and a round and spicy flavour. 

Rosé Pinot Grigio - Bocelli  

A light, pale, dry Rosé wine with a refreshing feel. 

Nero D'Avola Syrah   

This well flavoured red wine is full of unrestrained ripe fruit plummy flavours whilst retaining lightness and balance.

Prosécco - Brut - Romeo  

Light fragrant classic white from Northern Italy.

The beer comes in 2pint takeaway containers: 

Bitter - whatever local draught beer the Royal Oak has at the time, currently Pilgrim Brewery.
